Home care is a treatment that is provided to a patient in their home. Home care is often known as domiciliary care where patients are treated in their home by professionals.
The best benefit of this facility is that patients do not require being admitted at any hospital or clinic but all the services are provided to them at their homes. This treatment can be quite costly but nevertheless there can be no replacement than enjoying the comforts of a home for all your treatment. Home care is divided into 3 types – Nursing, Personal & Respite Care.
Nursing involves treatment of wound, medication, vaccination etc. Personal Care includes dressing, shower and grooming assistance, meal preparation; shopping, bill payment etc. and Respite care is provided for people with disabilities who are either bed ridden or in a wheelchair. Respite care can either be a short term or a long term treatment.
